As a school we are continuously striving to improve our school through seeking to improve children's learning and enhancing teacher instruction. This means working towards developing higher quality teaching and promoting more effective learning. Please click on the link below to view our data for the 2011 academic year.
The Majella Parent Handbook is a very useful publication for parents containing information about school organisation, school management policies, uniform, canteen, after school care and more.
In 2011, Majella Catholic Primary School launched its “Majella Swim Program” with the aim of subsidising the cost of swimming lessons for each student from Year 1 to Year 6. We were overwhelmed at the generosity shown, much of it from people who didn’t know our school or our students but were moved by the cause.
Books in Homes Australia provides books-of-choice to families and children living in remote and low socio-economic circumstances, ensuring crucial early literacy engagement and the development of reading skills needed for lifelong success. At Majella Catholic Primary School the Books in Homes program is vitally and uniquely important helping teachers to unlock the doors to learning for children and giving them a love of literature.
Majella is extremely grateful to its corporate sponsor, Mainfreight Logistics, for its ongoing support of this vital program for our students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
